Straight away we can see that this magazine is more commercialised and popular as part of the mast head 'Rap-Up' is covered. The use of pinks and purples and flower background shows its much more appealing to females. The mast head is made bold and a different font to the rest of the page to show its importance and to stand out on the shelf. The features of the magazine are all names of who will be presented and written about in the magazine, the most popular being in a larger font. The use of 'secret' and 'shh' which is presented in bold and italics creates mystery and is used to persuade the audience to pick it up and find out what is hidden inside. As Christina Milian is a well known star she will be a role model for many young girls so they will want to find out about her life and the image of her in sunglasses further emphasises that she has secrets to tell. Males who are interested in her music or the artists that are mentioned on the cover will also be attracted especially as the photograph is quite raunchy and they may want to see what she has to reveal.
